Young European Shapers (YES) – Youth Lab

The Youth Policy Laboratory is a four-day interactive simulation and capacity-building program organized within the framework of the Young European Shapers (YES) project and coordinated by İlksen Ol Youth Movement Association.

Participants will explore European Union youth policy frameworks, analyze current challenges affecting young people, develop evidence-based policy recommendations, and engage in collaborative policy-making simulations. The outcomes of the laboratory will be compiled into a Policy Booklet and presented to relevant decision-makers and stakeholders.

Activity Description

This laboratory provides a unique opportunity for young people to strengthen their policy-making, advocacy, and leadership skills. Through workshops, simulations, group work, and policy drafting sessions, participants will contribute to the development of innovative solutions addressing youth-related issues at local, national, and European levels.

Participation Requirements

• Aged 18–30
• Interested in youth participation, public policy, and civic engagement
• Motivated to contribute to policy development processes
• Able to actively participate throughout the entire program

Financial Support

No financial support will be provided to participants for attending the roundtable meetings.
